At MVMS, Every Voice Matters

At Mount Vernon Middle School, Melissa Siferd, MA, CCC-SLP, serves as the speech-language pathologist supporting students in grades 6–8. She provides assessment and therapy for expressive and receptive language disorders, articulation and phonology, fluency, dysarthria, and pragmatic language skills. Through individualized and small-group services, she helps students strengthen communication skills that support academic achievement and positive social interactions. Mrs. Siferd holds a Bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and a Master’s degree from Kent State University in Speech and Language Pathology.
